Gracy has just arrived in Sydney from Mumbai!!
She is a seasoned choreographer and dance performer in Bollywood.
Gracy has been extensively involved in the Bollywood movie and entertainment industry for over 11 years now. She has choreographed many numbers and danced in many shows and movie productions throughout her career, with the likes of Sharukh Khan, Ashwariya Rai, Amitabh and Abishkek Bachan, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Preity Zintha, Rani Mukherji, Hrithik Roshan.. just to name some…
She has many videos with the top stars which can be seen on youtube.
She was also the assistant to Ganesh Hegde , one of Indias lead dance chore-ographers and entertainers for over 11 years and has travelled all over the world with Indias top movie stars…
She will be available to dance Bollywood Fusion for corporate functions and other events for a limited time. She will also be running some Bollywood Dance Workshops in Sydney.
Winner of “Dance India Dance South Pacific / Asia Region ” 2010 hosted in Australia by Zee TV India.
Recently involved with the reality TV Series “Just Dance” India Mumbai with hrithik Roshan as a dancer July 2011.
Her recent work was in a dance theatre production which has been travelling the world with its show and was only late last year in Australia called the “Merchants Of Bollywood”. She was then also involved with the reality show earlier this year in India called “Jhalak Dik Laja”, with her contestant (serial tv star “Parul” winning the India Reality show)..

Season two of reality dance show Dance India Dance hit the television screens on 18 December. The show went international this year.
Season two of reality dance show Dance India Dance hit the television screens on 18 December. The show went international this year. There were auditions held in Australia and the winner gets a spot as a wildcard entry on the show. Describing her experience Gracy Xavier, the winner of the competition in Australia, said, “It was good. Achcha Tha. There were good competitors. I’ve been told that I will be entering the show as a wildcard.”
The auditions were held in Australia on 28-29 November, 2009, in Sydney. A release from Zee TV stated, “The auditions saw a good turnout with people showcasing their talent. The telecast of the same will be scheduled soon on Zee TV Asia Pacific.”
Gracy says, “I’m from Mumbai. I arrived in Australia seven or eight months ago. I’ve been dancing for seven years and have done Bollywood shows with choreographer Ganesh Hegde. I participated in the show as I wanted to go forward in dancing. I wanted to show that even in Australia we can have better Indian dancers.”
The ‘Grandmaster’ of the show is Bollywood star Mithun Chakraborthy and his presence adds to the appeal of the show. Chakraborty is a National Film Award-winning Indian film actor. He made his acting debut with the arthouse drama Mrigaya (1976), for which he won his first National Film Award for Best Actor. In his heyday during the ’80s, he earned a huge fan following as a dancing star and went on to establish himself as one of the most popular and leading actors of India, particularly recognised for his role of street dancer Jimmy in the 1982 cult hit, Disco Dancer.
The season two promises to have its fair share of celebrities gracing the episodes, to boost the moral of the contestants. This is the first time the auditions have gone international with auditions held in Australia, Malaysia and USA.
The format of the show displays the dancing prowess of the contestants with mentors Terence Lewis, Remo D’Souza and Geeta Kapoor training them and judge Mithun Chakraborthy acknowledging the participants’ performances week after week. He is not only the Grandmaster but plays mentor to scores of dance enthusiasts who want to prove their mettle on the show. Every week a Bollywood celebrity graces Dance India Dance to add more entertainment element to the show.
